Michael Mansour has worked on Capitol Hill for nine years and currently serves as Legislative Director to Congressman Adam Kinzinger, a fifth-term representative from the 16th District of Illinois. Rep. Kinzinger serves a Deputy Republican Whip, and is member of the House Energy and Commerce Committee and the House Foreign Affairs Committee. Michael was born and raised in Newnan, Georgia, received his undergraduate degree in political science and history from the University of Georgia, and his graduate degree in national security affairs and strategic studies from the United States Naval War College. As legislative director, he is responsible for managing the Member’s policy shop. His primary policy focuses are technology and telecommunications, cybersecurity and privacy, national security, foreign affairs, budget and appropriations, and transportation. He serves as the staff lead for the Congressman’s Energy and Commerce Committee work.
